FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our roofing and gutter services.
How do I know whether my roof needs repair or replacement?
The answer depends on the roof's age, the extent of damage, previous repairs, material condition, and whether leaks are isolated or widespread. We inspect the full roof and explain both immediate needs and likely future concerns before recommending a repair or replacement.
Can you inspect a roof after a hailstorm?
Yes. We can check shingles, metal components, flashing, vents, gutters, and other exposed areas for signs of hail or wind damage. An inspection does not guarantee insurance coverage, but it can help you understand the visible condition of the property.
Do you provide written roofing estimates?
Yes. Proposed work is presented in writing with the planned scope, materials, and available options. If hidden damage is discovered after materials are removed, we document it and discuss any change before proceeding.
How quickly can a roof leak be repaired?
Scheduling depends on weather, safe roof access, the source of the leak, and demand following major storms. Active water entry receives priority when possible, and temporary protection may be recommended when a permanent repair cannot be completed safely.
What roofing materials work well in Denver?
Architectural asphalt shingles are common, while impact-resistant shingles can be worth considering on hail-exposed properties. The best choice also depends on roof slope, structure, appearance, budget, ventilation, and the requirements of the building.
Can you repair or replace gutters during a roof project?
Yes. Gutters can be repaired or replaced as a separate project or coordinated with roofing work. We evaluate drainage, slope, seams, downspout placement, fascia condition, and how water moves away from the structure.
Will you help with storm damage documentation?
We can photograph visible conditions, prepare a roofing scope, and explain the work we believe is needed. Insurance coverage decisions remain with the property owner and insurance carrier, so we do not promise claim approval or a particular settlement.
